A fantastic, tranquil, rural location with stunning views of the countryside. The perfect retreat for families and couples looking to explore the southern coast.
Situated on the outskirts of Herodsfoot, in the middle of the countryside where keen walkers can enjoy the Deer Park Forest only 1 mile away and also the nearby West Looe Valley Trail. As well as Looe, there are several other interesting towns and villages in the local area, including Polperro, with its restaurants, craft galleries, sandy beach, tidal pool, and pleasure boat trips. Or why not visit the coast where several beaches are a short drive away? A little further, but still within easy reach, the world-renowned Eden Project is a must-see for visitors to the area along with the fantastic Adrenalin Quarry for a bit of adventure.
Enter into the large spacious hallway with a stunning tiled floor with space to hang coats and hats. To your right you will find the utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, wine fridge and freezer, this room has plenty of space to dry clothing. Following on through from the utility room is a separate WC and boot room, the perfect place to leave muddy boots after a long stomp around the countryside. Back out to the hallway you'll find the large, spacious and open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with magnificent views out onto the garden. The kitchen boasts a wonderful large island with bar stools, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The dining area has seating for eight people and is a light and bright space to enjoy a meal. The lounge area has comfy seating with Smart TV, the perfect place to relax and watch your favourite programs. Moving up the staircase you will find four bedrooms all with views over the countryside. The first is a spacious king-size bedroom, next door you will find the second is a twin bedroom, across the hall you will come to the stylish bathroom with free-standing bath and WC. Moving along the hallway, the next room is a spacious double bedroom with views over the countryside and again plenty of light. The final room on this floor is the super-king-size room featuring dual aspect, stunning rural views. It boasts a spectacular en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and WC.
Outside there is a large, enclosed, grassed area with play facilities and a hot tub. There is also a large patio area with garden furniture. Both can be accessed via the kitchen and lounge. There is private off-road parking for four cars.

This is the second time we have stayed at West Park, and we have already booked a third visit for next year. We absolutely love the rural location - the garden is divine. The relaxation hits you the moment you arrive. The house is spotless and perfectly set up for a family holiday :)

Fantastic cottage in a beautifully quiet location with easy access to explore Cornwall and the South West Coast Path. The property is really well maintained and has everything you need to have a great holiday. Would highly recommend and will definitely look to return in the future.

West Park was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. It has everything you n Ed for a relaxing stay. The setting is so peaceful & beautiful & you feel as though you are in the middle of know where but you are so central to getting around & seeing Cornwall!! Had a very lovely stay here . Had a Rocky start due to the Cornwall storms which left us without electricity , heating and water . The owners were very helpful and did everything they could to help . The house is very well maintained and in lovely surroundings near dear park forest . Plenty to do near by .

Fantastic accommodation, clean, bright, welcoming! Felt like home straight away. Had great communication with the owners before hand and during our stay. The location is stunning and a reasonable distance from many different tourist attractions. Would highly recommend.

Lovely property in quite location. We came as a large group, 3 generations of the same family. Loved the kitchen and sitting area which was just as well as the weather was atrocious when we were there so we spent a lot of time in the property. Such a beautiful cottage set in the most beautiful grounds. Fantastic living space and all bedrooms and bathrooms are of a high standard. We had a fantastic stay at West Park. The cottage and grounds were beautiful along with the addition of the childrens play area our boys had a brilliant time!! The bedrooms are a fantastic size with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were brilliantly equipped. We would definitely be back in a heart beat we had a much needed week away!

A truly beautiful and immaculate cottage located in a peaceful and very private setting, with stunning views, yet close to amenities and easy access to touring other parts of Cornwall. The house is beautiful and in a peaceful, country location by Deerpark. The night sky is stunning. There is everything you need in the kitchen (the oven doubles as a microwave). Fabulous house and grounds. Our group included a family of 4(children aged 3 and 7 who loved the playground, trampoline and hot tub) and both sets of grandparents. Plus our 2 dogs.
